I don't get all the hate for Ryan. The dude is as genuine as they come. People need to stop comparing. He is who he is. And like others have said I think it's awesome how interactive he is with the fans.

Ryan is great other than him giving humble brags every 15 seconds with his "when I played with".

Hollins and Craig sound like 2 buddies at the bar…definitely better than Craig and Bull…all Bull brought to the table was corny catchphrases like NwabaDabaDoo and 2 talking points: something about the Rockets not wanting to shoot midrange, and something about 3>2…that’s it

    "Not a penny, not a nickel, that's a dime!"

He's too antic. Being excited is OK, but too much is grating and makes it difficult to make points you'd want an analyst to make. In other words, too much coloring outside the lines for my taste. Now, get off my lawn.

He got better as season went on. If someone has a clip of his first preseason game, you can clearly see he improved a lot. No complaints from me

Personally I’m not a fan of either of them.

I know it’s their first season together and you have to build chemistry/comfortability, but they just aren’t for me.

Hollins is just really over the top and feels like he’s trying too hard.

Calvin Murphy is still the dream.

I really like Ryan he speaks his mind and has been right on basketball subjects

He even said Luka should had went number 1 over ayton. The fact Ryan said KPJ has top 5 skills is a extremely good sign.

KPJ being skilled has never been a question, at least not for people who understand basketball. It's the fleshy organ above his shoulders that has questions.

I clicked hoping he had been fired. Disappointed. I would rather have Clyde back it's that bad.

...okay, it's never that bad. Clyde was horrible. Still, fire Ryan Hollins.

He looks like a character from the Addams Family.

I love Ryan Hollins actually. This season I was always so annoyed if I couldn't find the Rockets feed, some of the other teams have actually terrible announcers. I think maybe it was Milwaukee where it was so dull I turned the sound off and put music on because it made me want to go to sleep. I also think it's hilarious that he played with basically everybody, I find them both very entertaining actually.

He is a nice guy but you get ZERO insight into plays, or what is happening on defense, or anything that would be considered analysis....

Something like Tony Romo in football would be nice.

Hollins is an excitable hype man for sure, but meh on tactics, and plans.

I'm not a fan, but he is definitely less awkward than Bill. I really cringed at everything Bill did and said. Bull was pretty decent. Calvin was great. Clyde was awkward, but in a funny way. If this is the price we pay to have Bill off the broadcast, i guess I am cool with the trade off.

He needs to relearn how to pronounce the English Language.
I would enjoy his commentary so much more! Y

Same. I'll take any ex-Rocket over this guy. Who is he again and why is he working for the Rockets? My guess is he was cheap.

Hollins runs circles around Bull…he’d post him up and dunk on his head…a complete mismatch in the broadcast booth
