I’m not seeing anything anywhere confirming a legit 6’10.5 barefoot, there was the hyperbolic report. If he is a legit 7 footer in shoes, that’s pretty impressive. I do like his interviews and his obvious work ethic to lean up. I think Chet and Paolo are my top two right now
I agree. Although I really like Chets defense so if he or Jabari (or even Ivey) are the pick I'd still be extremely excited.
I like Chet too I think he is a great fit. Just have vibes about Paolo becoming a superstar when his shot improves and defense (effort) catches up. I don’t compare him to Luka but his impact after being passed over might come back to haunt those teams similarly.
Paolo has openly disrespected OKC, GSW, and the city of Dallas. What more could you ask for out of a prospect?
I’ve been saying this could be a possibility! Where you at, @YOLO? If Paolo goes first, I’m guessing Chet still goes second. I’d be pretty thrilled with Smith.
He’s going top 2 because he’s a top 2 player in this draft. All you people who want Jabari may just get your wish. I’m fine with it but he’s third best at best.
I tend to agree. Jabari is an excellent fit, though, so I don't see that as a bad thing. If he becomes Chris Bosh-esque, that's very much worth the 3rd pick. I'd still prefer Jabari to Jaden Ivey, personally.
That is where he falls to me too, he can't create - but he can shoot and finish. To me. 1. Chet 2. Banchero 3. Smith But Banchero is the most NBA ready now, but Chet has the highest upside, IMHO..... If we get Jabari, fine....he will be a very good player catching and shooting and playing D. It reminds me of the Lebron, Melo, Bosh class, where you still are ok with Bosh......but Melo is better and lebron is maybe the best ever.....and we are gonna ignore who went number 2, right Darko? DD
Yup. I’m pretty okay with each player for different reasons. With Paolo, I’d be excited about his offense and facilitating. With Chet, I’d be excited about his defense, particularly his rim protection. With Smith, I’d be excited about his two-way potential and fit next to Sengun/Green.
Yea… but if they are both passing on Smith with his floor and “valuable” traits I can’t help but think we’d be getting the worst player of the 3.
