Trade everything not nailed down (Green and maybe Sengun) to the Kings to lock in 3 and 4 in that scenario and take the two bigs that are left.
Up until 2 weeks ago I would have said Jabari all the way on the last 2 options. I’m confused now, still think he’s great… just not sure if Paolo is growing on me more. Chet is a confusing prospect. Either he’s lights out fantastic or a scrub. this is the scenario I’m afraid of and wouldn’t know what the Rockets rank each. I wouldn’t be surprised if Stone has Banchero 1st on his board.

The Rockets have 1 guard that matters. There is still way too many roster changes that will happen before Rockets get to the point they need to worry about having too many guards.
The problem is that they have at least 2 guards better than Ivey and a 3rd that is not too far behind him. I get that some want to pretend like there's some drama behind this pick, but there's not.... never was. The Rockets were always taking the big that drops to 3. A 6'4 SG that can't run the point is literally the most worthless type of player the Rockets could go for since they already have Green and KPJ.... either of which would be drafted over Ivey if they were in this year's draft.

I would trade Wood, Tate, Christopher, #17, Bucks pick, one of the Nets picks 2024. I’m pretty sure with that lineup you would be able to get a guard next draft in the top 10 along with a few vets in free agency and I would be a happy kid.
You don’t know who he would be worse than especially by the end of the season. He would likely be better than instead of worse than Nix and Christopher.
Yeah I am waiting for the meltdown here when that happens. If Ivey gets picked at 2 then this place is going to go nuts over whatever pick Stone makes at 3. Is it too early to start eating popcorn?
If OKC was dumb enough to pick Ivey, I imagine everyone here would cheer.... it would just mean that we'd get to choose between 2 of the top 3 players instead of just taking whichever one drops.
