sounds like a rumor that benefits Sac-Town, who is clearly trying to trade the #4 pick.

Will the 2023 draft have any effect on who will be drafted by the Rockets in the 2022 draft?

Mr. Stone is from Seattle . Paolo is from Seattle too. I think there may be a bias in his favor.

But at some point, he's got to start building a team.

I am not the believer in Presti that so many others are. He built a team with 3 consecutive top 5 picks. Any GM should be able to do that. Since he drafted Harden, I'd say Reggie Jackson is the only good pick he's made. He may be able to turn all of these picks into legitimate players at some point, but I'm still waiting to see it.

I don't get all the fascination with a 5 who can shoot the 3-point shot. The best hit no more than 2 a game-- probably on ~7 shots. Does that really have much of an impact on the outcome? A big shot-blocker affects all the offensive possessions except fast breaks and other quick shot situations.

I hear ya. Giddy was a good pick too. But I hear ya. I agree he’s got to turn those picks into something but it’s just a matter of time. He can literally outbid anyone at this point and he’s gonna have lots of shots at the top of the lotto for years with all the picks he’s accumulated. If Giddy turns out to be a stud and the #2 pick in this draft as well, he’s got two cornerstones, plus SGA and picks to trade. It may have taken a year or two longer than he wanted but he’s now positioned well to crawl out of the basement.

I do wish Stone would be more aggressive about accumulating future assets since we are in full rebuild, but I hear u on Presti. He’s not perfect.

I’m trying to remember how Presti’s ‘last time’ turned out. Seemed it turned south when it came time to

I can't imagine anybody giving up a talent as good as Mobley, but this would be hilarious after the draft cycle last year tbh haha.

Morey should have pulled trigger on this trade, Brandon Clarke or not.

    Smart + Timelord for Capela + 22.

    Crazy!!!

not gonna lie; I’d trade the #1 pick in this draft for Mobley. Chet may have a higher upside but Mobley is a guaranteed stud for years to come.

Any sane person would do this.

That's why Cavs would be fools to even consider it.

Rockets would have to add more assets.

    If only.

How much $$$ would Rockets even need to send BOS to make this work?

One thing that has allowed OKC to collect picks is the ability to take salary into their cap space in exchange for picks. The Rockets have not had that luxury, so they can’t be quite as aggressive in the pick collection department.
