Another solid podcast. Thanks so much for continuing to put in the work. I especially liked Binkley’s questions. I agree that Wood at $15 mil is worth signing even though I don’t think he’s part of the future. At that price tag the rockets would have no problem flipping him. But if they do sign him I think they are gonna commit to him, so I think the odds are better that he’s not on the team in 2023 vs being on the roster. if Green, Sengun and KPJ take another step next season, and if whoever we draft #3 can make a significant contribution, we may not make the play-in, but there’s no way we should be a bottom 3 team next year. I would like to hit the sweet spot: improvement in wins while still having a chance at a high lotto pick. This lotto system is kinder to teams in that kind of position, so let’s use that to our advantage.
I love Ali's Red Nation Hoops podcast. Even when I disagreed with him, it was a good listen. Gotta listen to this one later.
