Creative but, ironically, I would only do this if Ivey somehow went 1 or 2 (highly unlikely) just so we could walk away with some variation of Chet and Paulo or Jabari.

I would switch Tate for Garuba if we can get Chet or Jabari.

Paolo plus either Chet or Jabari would be the dream pair up.
Chet plus Jabari would still be great, but not as ideal as Paolo and either one of them.

These guys can unlock each other's potentials... and have Green wreaking havoc at the same time.

I like Josh Christopher as well. He has surpassed my every imagination because
he has a good strong work ethic. A gym rat constantly working on his flaws and
trying to improve.....and did. I respect that tremendously.

I feel JC is just a notch below Ivey right now:
    In passing
In driving to the basket and finishing.....Ivey is going to be a foul magnet draw
    In shooting 3's
In transition.....Ivey will be a beast combination of Westbrook/Jason Kidd

push and finish. The defense would have constant pressure with our
3-headed monster of Ivey-Green-Porter in the half court and in transition.
Hide the women and kids.....they won't be showing mercy.

JC has the edge in defense. But I feel both Green and Ivey have the
tools and build to be very good defenders in the NBA. Step right up
and enter the John Lucas office if you may (Mr. Ivey)

Verdict: try to hold on to JC if I can. Sort it out later.

    Kenyon Martin Jr:
1st a report his dad didn't like the Rockets culture.
Wished his son was with a team contending.
Then I saw an article Kenyon may want out because he doesn't like
    his backup role.
So does moving Porter Jr to SF upset Kenyon? Does moving Tate help calm Kenyon?
Does drafting Banchero and playing him at SF create a mess with Tate/Kenyon?

Kenyon has been working hard on his game and working on his flaws for
this whole summer (hopefully 3-pt shooting....esp corner 3).

Verdict: try to keep Kenyon because his athleticism is off the charts
and the Rockets high flying act with Ivey-Green-Porter-Kenyon-JC
can be an incredible and amazing problem for opponents. Plus he talks
to Green constantly this summer as viewed in a basketball clinic recently.

But if Kenyon wants to leave.......there's the door. We don't need any malcontents.
    _____________________
Tate: crafty, high basketball I.Q. but at 6'4" has limitations. Probably nets the
Rockets the most return for the crafty and high basketball I.Q. parts.....and a
team with good length like Toronto would cover up Tate's lack of height,
or having good shooters surrounding Tate, like GSW.

Verdict: Tate is available unless Kenyon is being vocal about wanting out....then
Kenyon is top priority to move/trade vs moving Tate.

It's unknown what the Kings identity is, they don't even know, and haven't known
for decades. But I'm seeing rumors, articles, Kings sports forums suggesting
the Kings want Ivey to go with Fox and DaVion Mitchell. Which is part of
what ApacheWarrior has been saying; many teams are trying to go 3-guard or multiple
    combo guard lineups.

Others teams wanting to move up to get Ivey are the:
Thunder to team up with S Gilgeous-Alexander, Dort, Giddey (move up from their 2nd pick)
Knicks want Ivey even though they drafted Quickly over Haliburton
Detroit wants Ivey to pair with Cade Cunningham
    Kings (above mentioned)
    Rockets next to Green-Porter
probably others....those are just the ones I'm hearing as of today.

*Side Note: I saw Josh Christopher, J Springer, Cam Thomas and Quintin Grimes as
all being cut out of the same cloth. I can now saw that the Rockets got the best
out of those 4 mold type players in Josh Christopher. Still room for improvement.

Exactly. Along with Sengun and Garuba, this would completely transform our frontcourt and give us plenty of dynamic rotation options.

Not for Ivey, though. I realize there’s the chance that he’s Ja 2.0 and this might not age well, but I look at this proposal through the JC lens. You’re giving up JC + those other pieces for a combo guard in an already crowded backcourt. I just can’t justify it (though I realize others might). Would rather just keep JC and get better bigs.

Chet and Paulo would be amazing. It's almost impossible to pull it off unfortunately, unless OKC wants Sengun and the 17th plus KJ Martin .

Which is ironic because the Thunder could have had Sengun out right
if they had just drafted him.

So with your question towards moving up.....what's your end game?

What are you orchestrating? JC, KMj, or Tate, #17 for Banchero & Ivey picks at #3 and #4 ?

    Starters:
    Ivey
    Green
    Porter
    Banchero
    Sengun

    Enlighten me, please

I know you weren't asking me, but if we get our hands on #4, and Bari & Chet are gone, this would be my (admittedly complicated) master draft plan:

    - take Paulo #3

    - get on the phone w DET about #5
    - simultaneously get a feel for tradeup assets coveted by teams in #10-13 range

    - drop back to #5, let Pistons take Ivey
    - take Daniels #5

    - consolidate extra DET assets, #17, and lower-value FFRPs to move up and take Eason #10-13

    My new rotation:
    C - Bamba / Sengun
    PF - Paulo / Garuba
    SF - KJM / Tari
    SG - Green / Josh
    PG - KPJ / Dyson

I know I'm probably all alone on this, but I prefer Dyson+Tari over Ivey+17

Stone magically added Sengun out of thin air last year ... I can dream

What do you see or like about Dyson?

I like his height, but I'm not a fan of him....but I'm open minded.

He is not someone I'm trading assets to move up for.....but curious as to why
    you would?

Dyson kind of reminds me of Deron Williams. That's a tad optimistic for his career trajectory but I would definitely take it

I would trade anything outside of Jalen Green and the #3 pick to move up to #4 and take Ivey

Primarily bc I think he's the best on-ball defender in this draft among the combo type of guards

    Fantastic length
    Good overall awareness
    Decent athlete
    Excellent on PnR
    Versatility to switch easily 1-3

Also like how his OFF game fits with this core

    Improving spotup shooter
Great vision in open floor and really pushes trans tempo
Nice floater that he uses to finish close

I may be the only person on earth that would take him over Ivey (only bc we have Green KPJ & Josh already)

Keels is nice too (looks like a mike linebacker)

He reminds me a lot of a VERY rich man's George Hill
Not the comp that screams top-5 pick, but very similar build and game

Always wanted to see Hill start next to Harden for a lot of the same reasons I'd like Dyson next to Green

Respect your opinion. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

His PnR game as ball handler is something Silas would like.

Chet replaces Sengun at the 5, Paolo plays at the 4. It won't happen, I admit. No to Ivey in this case.

Why would you give assets to trade back?

Because they are stupid, that's why they want Ivey to begin with.

I see SAC trading #4 and fillers for SGA.
The Thunders has no hurry to rebuild and The Kings get a star.
