Trick question: Houston Rockets fans win because we'll have both on the roster.

neither can guard the other, but Paolo should be able to get more stops, so I’ll go with him although I don’t really care about who’s beating who 1 on 1

I know this thread is just baiting for trouble, but I can't ignore a good NBA hypothetical. I think it's Banchero. Sengun's skills as a passer, screener, rebounder, etc. are great for a team game, but in a 1 on 1, I think Banchero would abuse him. Sengun is obviously the superior post player, but I think Banchero's struggles defensively are negated if Sengun just tries to back him down and score in the paint—Banchero is a strong dude. Whereas Sengun doesn't have the lateral quickness to keep up with Banchero off the dribble. Banchero can get a bucket from anywhere on the floor, and Sengun's game isn't especially well-suited for that 1 on 1 style of play.

I do not think Banchero is necessarily a better basketball player right now as of this second, but in a 1 on 1 game, I'm taking Banchero and not thinking twice about it.

Exactly. The real questions we should be concerned with are: Which of these players gives your team the best shot at winning? and How would their unique individual talents mesh?

In other words, who gives f$%k which guy wins one-on-one?

    Sengun

Because Banchero is going to pull up for a mid range shot.

Sengun is going to back his ### down until he is under the rim

Probably the player who was a guard until a major growth spurt. I love Sengun but he doesn't have the same handles.

No highlight videos, no Tale of the Tape, nothing… Just two names. If you’re going to start a thread, put a little effort into it.

sengun has a weaker handles than KPJ, still better by a mile at creating his own shot in halfcourt
