I look forward to the future days when the Rockets are really good again and the draftniks aren't freaking out about our pick every year, but the one from the Nets.

    Regarding the warriors:
    1. They are in a destination city which is how they got Iguodala in free agency as part of a sign and trade (9th pick when drafted) for their first run.
    2. You also forgot Harrison Barnes (a 7th pick) who was an original part of the death lineup
    3. You also left off Kevin Durant (a former #2 pick) who again came because it's a destination city.
    4. Then they were able to use KD as a sign and trade for Russel (a former #2 pick) who was again traded for Wiggins (a former #1 pick) who was an all star this year and huge part of how they were able to return to prominence.
So, yea, it's a little more than 7,11, and 35

When you're picking deeper in the draft you're banking on those prospects developing the skills they already have and overcoming the holes in their game. Giannis and Kawhi are example of that but that's super rare.

Sure, if we were LA/NY/Miami/San Francisco I'd say F it we don't need top draft picks. But, that's not us. We have to draft great players.

I think it might end up being Maxey

Trade all the picks from last year for all the picks this year!
