    So, Jason Castro has struck out in more than half of his at bats this year and he’s hitting around .090. Is there really nobody better out there?

    Even if you don't get rid of Maldonado, trade for someone else, have him replace Castro, and at least take some of the playing time.

    Gonna take a trade. Korey Lee is struggling to make contact. There has to be a professional catcher that can hit a little worth 1 of our young pitchers in the minors.

    Hell if it was legal to DH for a position player I would just about roll with JV, Odo, Framber or whoever is pitching over Castrate. .090. He should just hold the bat over the plate. Better chance of the pitcher hitting the bat accidentally than of Castrate getting a hit. Eesh
