Haha, didn't answer the question. Sorry about that. The FCL Orange has their roster up on MILB now. I guess Elvis Garcia had some kind of injury that kept him from starting the year back in Fayetteville, so we can probably consider him to be on a rehab assignment even though his roster status doesn't reflect that.
Some hopeful signs for him that he put up much better numbers in May than he did in April and is now off to an even better start in June. One thing I just noticed is that he has big splits; 127 ops vs lefties, 633 against righties. Something to watch.
Hunter Brown strikes out the side to open up the first inning against OKC (a potent lineup that takes a lot of walks). One of the batters was Max Muncy, who is on a rehab assignment.
Colin Barber now has a 5-game hitting streak; he has 9 hits (through 4.666667 games) in this streak and five of them have been home runs.
Chayce McDermott took a no-hitter into the 6th, when he gave up a 2 out homer. Through 6, he has 10 K, no walks, and a hit and earned run from the homer. The only other baserunners allowed were due to fielding errors.
Chayce McDermott vs. Greenville: 6 IP, H (solo homer), ER, 10 K, 85 pitches (58 strikes) I think I've seen enough, send him to Corpus
Jake Meyers just made a great diving catch on a shallow line drive. Click made sure to say that Meyers belonged in the group of young long-term Astros, which is encouraging to hear.
