I wouldn't mind keeping Wood if he works on his off ball offensive awareness and worked on setting proper screens. Because ya, his shooting and finishing ability at the 4/5 position is very valuable.
hmmm, looks like teams ready and willing to get catfished by Christian Wood dude is a black Nikola Vucevic with attitude issues get him tf outta Houston ASAP
the longer we wait to get rid of wood, the worse it will be if he walks in FA, there is no reason for us to be left holding the bag with wood.
98. Christian Wood Guaranteed money left: $14,317,459 till 2022-23 2021/22 stats: 17.9 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 2.3 apg, 50.1 FG%, 39.0 3P% Agent: Adam Pensack Wood could be on the move this season with Alperen Sengun and likely a frontcourt player selected, with the third overall selection being their frontcourt of the future. They should be able to receive some good draft compensation for him. 61. Jalen Green Guaranteed money left: $9,441,840 till 2024-25 2021/22 stats: 17.3 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.6 apg, 42.6 FG%, 34.3 3P% Agent: Aaron Mintz Green may not have had quite the season some of the rookies above him had, but he is just as untouchable as them. weird list , but I like the idea at least . I think they are fairly on to Christian wood . I might have him 20-30 worse tho . He’s borderline top 100 . how do they have Lu dort 75 tho and Tate didn’t make it ? Also mobley at 14 with cade and Barnes at 31 and 29 , green at 61 is a bit off too . Those players are closer together and should all be around 35 . donovan Mitchell at 11 ???? way too high nurkic also should be left off . Has he played in 2 years ?
Agree the whole list has a lot of head scratchers but Lou Dort has at least proved he can be an elite defender and playoff contributor. I like Tate, but two years of being the best defender on the league's worst defensive team isn't really a resume that's going to get you a top 100 spot.
agreed , it ill contest his defensive reputation is built off one series vs us and I believe the refs just let him maul harden . okc had the #2 pick this year so how great was he ?
Herb Jones is higher as well. I wonder how many GM’s would trade Green for Jones. This is in a way essentially like a trace value list. As far as I can tell the 2021 draft was flat out amazing and deep. Green is going to end up blowing people away down the line though especially with the right team around him.
