It behooves you because you’re making yourself think he’s something he’s not. He is not good defensively and he puts up empty stats his entire career. I couldn’t careless about loser numbers. So nah. Those aren’t facts

My number one saying on this site is "give it time". No, Paolo is no where near Draymond but I'm anxious to see what he brings, if we draft him.

Actually, I think Wood can bring a lot more than Wiggins on the parameter. First of all Wood is longer and he rebounds better.

If you pair Wood and Paolo at the forward spots, with Green and KPJ, the only issue is finding the right center. You need someone Capela, Robert Williams type

You're entitled to your opinion, although you are wrong but still it's your opinion.

I personally don’t see that working out. Wood maybe would be a plus rebounder. I don’t see him being effective on long periods on wing players as a defender. His strengths work because he is quick for 5s, and his a good 3PT shooter. Against other wings he wouldn’t have a speed advantage and I’d almost argue he would be weaker than most starting wings on a playoff team which is his biggest disadvantage as being a 5 and less extent.

Staying in Houston doesn't mean he's playing in Houston.

Wood is the perfect example of an empty stat player.

It's not that he's offensively a bad player its that every other aspect of his game is VERY poor. Defensively he has low IQ, offensively as well. His passes are never on time, the ball is always sticky, his screens are non existent....

Like any thing you can name thats an intangible, Wood isn't good at it. This is why people are saying he's a bad player despite the numbers because it's clear how his poor play affects the team and that even if he puts up 30 we can also be down 25.

Yup. There's how we view a player vs how the org views him. In the end, they are the decision makers.

Unless new news, it's likely we'll see Wood playing at least first half of next season.

Our depth chart currently will likely look like this mess. I feel like we have more room in the line up for Wood than Gordon. I think Gordon needs to go before C-Wood. Tate should never be playing PF and Garuba has a lot to prove. Sengun has a lot to prove with is foul trouble and cardio. Meaning there will still be ample time for Wood, Banchero, and Sengun in the PF/C role with Garuba picking up the random playing time.

Feel free to dismantle this depth chart...this is just a quick guess.

    • PG - Porter Jr, Josh Christopher, Nix
    • SG - Green, Gordon, Josh Christopher, Garry Bird
    • SF - Tate, KJ Martin, Gordon, Nwaba (hopefully Eason)
    • PF - Banchero, Sengun, Tate, Garuba
    • C - Wood, Sengun, Garuba

    Weirdo….

And no… in no context ever in anything does “everyone eat”. Even in America kids go hungry every night.

If he’s talking about how great the Warriors are then he’s welcome to go join them and let’s then see if he’s happy as a bench player getting 10 minutes a night if he’s lucky. The guy sat alone at the Bellagio breakfast buffet last season and still couldn’t figure out how to put eggs on a plate with bacon.

Nothing against Wood but he's not part of the future, he would easily be back to a 20-10 guy in a new team!

That's what I want to hear.

Wood can be a beast if we get out of tank mode.

Because of his injury history, didn't apply himself defensively on a season
    (or two) meant to lose.
