This video doesn't make sense, I was told by definitely really smart people that Sengun doesn't play any defense. I know those absolutely smart people can't be wrong, so that must mean the video has to be fake right?

He's never said anything but positive things about Houston/Rockets despite how some fans feel or some on-court/lockerroom chemistry issues, he's had multiple tweets and quotes in interviews saying he loves Houston, wants to be here, is his home, etc

Jackson Gatlin, Dave Hardesty, Roosh and others like yourself have been hoping for this man to be traded for a while now! He came to Houston as a FA with the idea of winning a Championship and playing with All-stars. Harden and Westbrook ran off BUT he chose to stay and he still wants to be here.

Yet we VILIFY players who want out of Houston and torture players with trade talk who want to stay!

I DO NOT GET IT! All I see is....He's not a locker room guy, he doesn't set picks, he doesn't fit the time line, he doesn't play defense, he shoots too much, he's too this or that.....THERE ARE NO MJ'S AND OLAJAWON'S IN THE LEAGUE TODAY!

PEOPLE IT TAKES TIME!! Earlier in the year people were down on Jalen Green, saying he was the wrong pick, now he's the FACE OF THE FRANCHISE. Sengun can't shoot outside of 10ft nor can he guard on the parameter, yet some deemed him the best player on the team. Both players still need time to develop before they can become a known product.

Basically, Wood avg 20/10 and he's 26...you don't trade that, you develop that! Especially, if his desire is to stay in Houston. We don't know how this is going to play out. Wood has a lot of basketball left and for those who say his TIMELINE doesn't fit with Green, KPJ, etc. just look at Al Horford playing with Tatum and Brown and where they are now.

    Somebody’s got to go.

Especially if the Rockets suck again and pick in the top 5, which isn’t off the table.

Everybody loves this guy or that guy, but everyone can’t stay AND get playing time.

And given the circumstances surrounding Wood, he’s a the top of the list.

you make some compelling points and I agree that it takes bigs longer to develop. I’m glad Wood wants to be here, but his actions and on court play haven’t always reflected that of a good teammate. His offensive skill set is special but you forgot to mention that he quit on his team in the middle of a game and refused to check back in. That’s almost unheard of. He also seems to shy away from contact and refuses to play defense in the paint. He’s soft and he can be a black hole with the ball.

is he a terrible player and cancer that needs removing at once? No. But does he fit what we need and has he proven that he’s a committed member of the team? No. If we draft Paolo, along with developmental prospects Sengun and Garuba, will his minutes interfere with their development next year? Yes.

I think it makes sense to trade him for something of real value, and put our faith in developing #3, Sengun and Garuba. Unless we plan on signing him long term he walks for nothing at the end of the season. That makes no sense.

John wall said the same thing and how he wants to b the franchise player but he's now sitting out like a bum collecting free checks.

Folks can say the right thing, but in sports we need players that can get us wins.

We had folks btching about harden but at least he can carry a team into playoffs. Wood wants a max contract when he does even less than Harden and btches/pout more.

Wood doesn't average 20/10. Even if he does we r still getting our a$$ blasted bc he refuses to play like a big man or defense.

He has quit on the team before and pouts when things doesn't go his way

If he wants a max contract I rather he see the door.

Folks been btchin about harden was a selfish ball hogger who doesn't play for the team. Wood is basically an inferior version of that basically a westbrick when it comes to being a teamplayer. Focuses on stat

I don't mind keeping him as long as him playing as team and not trying to think he's the alpha. And play some defense.

If Wood is not sure he's staying in Houston, it could mean the Rockets are leaning towards Banchero. Drafting Ivey might mean he stays.

It's times like these I am reminded how grateful I am that the Rockets front office and coaching staff are so much smarter than the Rockets fanbase.
