This guy is a liar! First he says he wants to see the whites of Francis eyes and see what he's all about, some crap like that, now he says they had no plans of meeting with Francis. This guy is a clown, definitely burning bridges. There's a difference between being "hard-nosed" and just being a jackass.
This guy needs to be a verb -- "my tenth grade girlfriend Weisbrodded me for about six months," or "My boss is Weisbrodding me on that promotion" or "the record label Weisbrodded the album until..." any suggestions?

I think what weisbroad is doing is: delay the trade as much as he can, and hope Rox to give up and go for other FA. Then Tmac has to consider other teams, and maybe then there can be a bidding war. CD will just sit tight, and take Cato off the package, and force Weisbroad to bear the consequence.
Just hope that Francis doesn't hate Wiesass as much as we do. Hopefully he's able to hide his a$$holishness from Steve... I wouldn't work for a boss like that.
Why do I get the feeling that Francis is BSing us along with this clown? It definitely appears to me that Orlando is trying to act like they're wining and dining Francis as if Steve is the centerpiece of this deal, and justify it to the Orlando folks.
Dont be alarmed anyone... This guy is just abusing his 15 minutes of fame. The funny part is.... he has no pull in this transaction. McGrady tells him where he wants to go... and he has to listen. Either that or he holds McGrady hostage for a year. Either way he is a loser, a big loser!! When we do get McGrady i will laugh in his face, if he manages even to save face when this is all over!
An alternative: Francis to Chicago for Hinrich and whatever; never return an Orlando phone call, never never never...
Has anybody notice that the espn highlights of Francis only shows him beating somebody off the dribble to score. And that there are no highlights of him leading a fastbreak.
I dont understand why Weisbrod is saying things like this? I mean we all know Francis is coming there because they asked him to. Why is he making it look like if Francis is in town he can swing on by to say hello? Certainly he can't think we are buying that. There are limits to them trying to appear coy here. I am dumbfounded!
I generally think that people in Weisbrod's position are reasonably intelligent. Giving that presumption to Wiseass, which is likely undeserved, I now think something is going on. Wiseass is working on another deal, perhaps to move Mobley, perhaps to move Francis or Cato. This latest comment leads me to believe that he is buying time until the end of this month, to finalize a deal. That is the first date that really makes a difference to GM's. B/c Tmac holds the ultimate hammer, I don't think our deal is in jeopardy. I think that Weisbrod is trying to complete the rumoured Miami or GSW deal.
