KPJ can be effective or even a really good player with a change of role and a team with other playmakers and ball handlers. KPJ can be Andrew Wiggins if he’s willing to assume that role as not being a primary initiator of the offense. Wiggins played a lot of high screen and role with KAT and was often given free reign to make plays with the ball in his hands at the top of the key. His role changed as Curry and Draymond are the main playmakers. He now often spots up shoots from the wing or corner and drives from there or hangs out in the short corner or paint. This made his efficiency go up. He also improved his perimeter defense. KPJ can be this if he is taken off the role as primary initiator or ball handler but he has to be willing. He can be very good for a team that would give him an opportunity and put him in this position. It Likely it won’t be with Houston.

Thunder are interested in trading SGA for the #4 pick to draft Ivey. They aren't trading down from 2 to 4 or drafting Ivey at 2.

uh no. they didn't just sign SGA max extension less than a year ago to trade him. They're clearly committed to him for the foreseeable future

Correct , but Givony has mentioned all of the 3 bigs are going to be called in for workouts and interviews.

Presti is capable of doing this and he carries cards close to his chest.

And that's why we're interested in the #4 pick as well.

Paolo is more valuable to us as a trade chip than as an on-court player.

An interesting point. Who would you package him with and for whom?

No thanks. I like SGA . Green has more upside than him.

Jaden Ivey strikes me as a player that is somewhat of a cross between Allen Iverson and Dwyane Wade, but not as quick as Iverson and not as strong/fluid as Wade. I view him as a rung below both players -- which is still room to be a very good player. A guy that might make a couple of all-star teams but not an annual fixture.

Rockets have a nasty habit of holding on to players too long.

So if we do draft Ivey, what highly athletic SG without PG skills are the usual suspects going to be pushing for the Rockets to draft with their top 4 pick in the next draft? Let's get a jump on it now.
