1. first 10 questions are basic intelligence questions. Was is 3 1/4ths times 7 4/5ths ---- Read this paragraph and tell me what it means I suspect alot of people I have seen come candidates . . . 2. 2nd 10 questions are Civics and basic history Questions like we give immigrants How does bill become a law What does the 14th amendment say and do? 3. Then tell me about your fricking policies. We have GOT TO start weening out some of these people running for office. Rocket River
People get who they voted in. If you want better candidates and less "rigging", get more people to care when stakes are lower at the community level and primaries. Feels like a "privileged" belief, well maybe question that resistance and how that discouragement started...how well that negativity has resulted for you and for them.
Let's Try this again: I think we need to redo the format for the modern Political Debate Formats. I think they should make more well rounded questions rather than just policy questions. 1. I think they should start with some general intelligence questions. Simply things from basic math, problem solving and logic problems 2. I think they should add questions about civics. I think the modern politician should demonstrate a level of understanding and competence of our government and the governmental processes. We ask these of immigrants attempting to get citizenship. It would follow that our politicians should be able to answer them on live TV 3. Only at the end do we get to their policy positions and that political crap Rocket River better?
I would love to see that last two presidents having to answer basic intelligence questions during one of their debates. Trump would get pissed and start insulting the person asking the questions instead of answering. Biden would be lost and constantly looking for help through the teleprompter.
