I drove by a drive-in theater showing White Chicks and I almost drove off the interstate. There is no puke emoticon.
Sorry if you feel as though I trashed you for your choice in movie entertainment. I guess someone has to support those no talent ass clowns.
I haven't seen it. I like the Wayans though, from "I'm gonna git you sucka" to "Scary Movie 2." I liked In Living Color and the Wayans Bros. show, which had one of the best opening songs ever: "We're brothers, we're happy and we're singing cuz we're colored. Give us a high five!" Anyways, I'm not too interested in this because the makeup creeps me out, but here's a nice review from MSN. http://entertainment.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=162184 I really liked these last 3 paragraphs of the review, mainly for the line at the end:
"i'm gonna get you sucka" was classic. not to mention the bad arse hit single from the movie. i'm gonna get you suck-a. dirty mother... don't you say that! i'm gonna get ya 'til crime does not pay." ... or something like that. "you're a walking lie helen... i can see right through you!" another good movie. like rm95 said... "absolutely nothing". i'd probably laugh my arse off... as stupid as my sense of humor is. i'm not sure it would be much different than B.A.P.S. (Black American Princesses)
Please, elaborate. I'd be interested in reading what exactly your calling BS. Not trying to be cute or anything, just interested.
DHB's notion that is wasn't the same. Sure it's the same thing. It's a comedy poking fun at racial quirks. It's been done on both sides of the fence, so I don't agree that "it's not the same". Basically I don't see it as the taboo subject that so many other people do. Any guesses on how long until this gets closed or moved to D&D?
If I move this to the Astros forum can we all just call it a draw and get back to discussing this masterpiece?
So you're saying the Astros really do have black players, but they make them wear white-face makeup!!!!! EGADS!
i never posted in this... i thought the movie was actually okay. it's not the most intelligent movies... but i did not expect that. overall i had about as many laughs for this one as i did for dodgeball, but i'm not anxious to see either again any time soon. this movie definitely had its moments. it is much better than say, a "soul plane," "my baby's daddy," or "my boss's daughter." this is a legit movie. meanwhile, the chronicles of riddick were also okay. strangely watchable...
