Hey, I'm trying out this iTunes thing, and have a couple of questions. I bought one track, and it's on my system as an 'M4P' file. I tried to play it in MusicMatch Jukebox, but it didn't work. Can I only play songs I get from iTunes on the iTunes player? Can I convert this to an mp3? Also, can I burn these songs with my usual burning software, or is that not allowed? I read something about being able to burn things 7 times, or something ... what does that mean? This is for openers ... I may think of some more questions later. Thanks in advance!
I had this same question. Real quick wya to change it: Edit: Preferences Importing Import Using: Mp3 Encoder OK Then, find song, right click on it and it will say "Convert selection to mp3". BAM. Personally, I like AAC/M4A files more, better quality in smaller size, but unfortunately a lot of things (MusicMatch, etc.) don't recognize it yet.
No prob. That confused the hell out of me for a while. That said, I've switched completely to A4U files now. A4U files at 96 kbps are equal to MP3's at 160 kbps according to a few things I've read.
