FIEL Houston, an immigrant group advocating for Uvalde residents, is planning an action for 1 p.m. directly in front of the convention center, at 1001 Avenida De Las Americas.

The League of United Latin American Citizens is also hosting a protest outside the convention center’s main entrance at 10 a.m., and a Houston interfaith group is planning to gather for prayer and a march at 1 p.m.


Other groups such as Black Lives Matters are attending, and may have something scheduled.
