nope, luka is going through what harden went through. Refs swallowing their whistle on one side of the court againist the warriors. Which then leads to teams hopelessly jacking 3's all game againist the warriors because refs will let them mug you attacking the basket and no call
Might be time for an overhaul. Silver focusing on in season tournament and play in stuff but the 3 ball variance and free throw randomness is killing the product. Every game is a blow out.
Why? He's fighting through a hamstring injury from 1.5 years ago -- it's impressive he's even out there.
Not much Silver can do outside of getting rid of the 3 point shot or moving it out further. Teams just need to change their strat. Teams fall behind and think chucking up threes that brick can get them back in the game. 3>2 but 2>0 Teams need to stop being so reliant on threes, as it is and has always been true, you live and die by it...and good luck beating the Warriors that have two of the best 3 point shooters of all time.
I just think Curry is the anomaly. Towards the end I was sick and tired of Morey's Microsoft Excel approach to basketball. It only works if you have two of five best shooters in the history of the game on your team. Everyone else has way too much variance and end up flaming out like Dallas is doing now or the Rockets did in Game 7. The *only* time the Rockets got close was when they had CP3's automatic mid range game to fall back on. He closed out so many teams by himself with that. Bring on Paolo and that mid range game.
