Not really sure what the argument is that’s going on, but I’d just like to point out that the 2020/2021 season for Julius Randle was an extreme outlier shooting wise. Outside of that 1 season his career 3 point % is 30.0%
He’s only became a 3 pt shooter over the last 4 seasons where it’s been good, bad, great, bad. 34% overall. But that’s also in the NBA. He’s still a better shooter than Paolo
I believe Alpi and Paolo can start and after 4 minutes in the game put a shot blocker in the game for Sengun. i would trade for MoBamba he is perfect what this offense need. He has size 7 feet plus, can shoot and dribble the rock and can spread the floor. Also, he has a big body so can stop the easy access in the lane for us. He is perfect. If we draft Paolo and Jovic or Sochan and then sign Mo Bamba we would be in the PLAY IN!!!!
THIS^^^^ Randle's lone All Star season was an outlier. But that productive season is the projection for Banchero.
I'm excited for Paolo, Sengun and Green to play together but we really need Mo Bamba to be our backup Center!!!!
Over the past 4 seasons, Randle has averaged 21.3 pts, 9.6 rebounds. 4.4 assists on 34% from 3, 50% from 2 and 75% from FT If Paolo gives you that, regardless of defense, that’s a win.
Not as excited to see that triumvirate playing a lot of minutes together. But I'm a defense first guy. Staggering Banchero and Sengun makes more sense to me. Just like Banchero and Green, Sengun is most dangerous when he has the ball. As an off ball player, not so much.
watched the whole thing and I still don’t see it at all. All I saw was a good chucker, someone who can come off the bench a give you a bucket. They’re similar if you ignore every other aspect of basketball , passing, his iq, reads, etc.
Remove his All Star season and those numbers are not nearly as appealing. But not interested in this fight, not that important to me.
Yep ... chucker, ball dominant, iso crazy, hero ball ... that's his game. But 24/10/6 was legit. If Paolo averages 6 AST (like KPJ has done 2 straight seasons) then everyone on CF will declare him a success.
Then you’re overvaluing what Paolo can do. You don’t average 5 assists by accident, the moves and ball handling is similar. And someone that comes off the bench? He was all NBA team. Come on man, if Paolo ever gets close to that you boys would cream.
No fight intended. Removing that season puts him at 20.5 pts, 9.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists 2P% actually goes up but 3P% goes down to 31% Again, if Paolo averages that it’s still a win

Here comes Jiggylie, don’t deflect man. Randle is a better shooter than Paolo, period. They have similar games, if Paolo reaches his level you would take that, if he can get to that with some defense he’s a legit top 20 player.
Julius Randle was able to became an all star w/ all nba 2nd team appearance. That's what he will peak at. nothing really wrong with that when all players can't exactly be great. He showed he can impact winning to a certain level but isn't an alpha. Again, still nothing really wrong with that when all guys can't be that. It's just reality. That doesn't mean he still isn't a good player. If Paolo ever reaches that point folks should be ecstatic because it's not exactly common guys actually are able to reach that level. It took a long time for Randle to even do so.
Over the last 4 seasons where Randle has attempted more than 1 3PA a game he has shot .341 from 3 Paolo shot .338 in his lone season. In college.
