The teams in this series are allergic to close games. It continues they hasn't been a one score game in the final 2 mins in 3 weeks.

Jimmy Butler better pick it up. I dunno if he’s hurt but it appears he’s getting a pass right now. Last 3. 8pts on 3-8 shooting 6pts on 3-14 shooting 13pts on 4-18 shooting Miami needs him to survive.
For someone who has been absolutely god awful for three games straight now, it sure isn't made a big deal of like certain other star players.
Miami is starting to look like the Grit and Grind Memphis teams of old in that they can beat any team at any given time but don't have that supreme alpha guy that makes the difference in a 7 game series. Butler has done a pretty good job of trying to play that role but dude has either been injured at the wrong time or got gassed because the rest of his team finally looked in the mirror (e.g. bubble season).
funny how narratives are chosen at convenient times. JVG eluded to this live on the broadcast with Breen tried to reference it
it's not that complicated. He simply isn't wasting miles, energy, further potential for injury on a team that isn't winning a damn thing and playing games that aren't even meaningful. Now on a team where they clearly have their stars, he fills in the gaps that are ideal to his role and what is needed to win games that actually have meaning. That was no where nearly close to being a scenario in OKC. That's called staring in your role, which is what a lot of players fail to understand.
I normally root for a game 7. But this series has strangely been really boring, so I just want it to end ASAP
