In Texas they ARE scared. They know that the demographics of the state are changing and the future for them isn't as bright at the past. It is a completely different scenario but I remember hearing and seeing how the White South Africans acted when they were losing control of the power structure. The ruling class gets VERY nervous and in Texas it is similar..... and the fact that the state ALWAYS votes Republican at the state level means once an idiot like Cruz is in power, they will not be replaced.
I think you have a point in saying that @deb4rockets comment about the shooter probably being a white male is stereotyping. Why make any assumption prior to knowing the facts, right? To me, when I "sensed" her frustration with how people always assume a terrorist attack is a Muslim or a looter is black in many of these other threads and that her post was a bit of a nod to that versus any kind of attack on white men. But seriously, all this white man victimhood you are showing is a bit weak too. Or the word you probably use is beta, right? I mean, do you feel that white men are getting the shaft or something? Because instead of dominating leadership roles at 100% now they share it with others? Are you one of those people that believe white men are better and that minorities only get leadership roles out of tokenism or some kind of diversity initiative?
