Jesus Christ..... where to even begin.

Altuve is having a very good year... lets just get that out of the way.

Second, Ill take Bregman and Pena over Correa and Pena..... because Bregman actually plays, and that was never the choice to begin with.

Tucker "isn't the big superstar everyone thought he was"....... huh? He right now has 2.2 WAR, he is on pace for between 8 and 9 WAR this season, as a 25 year old....... last year at 24 years old he was a 6 WAR player....... your buddy Austin Hedges will likely in his career not have as much WAR as Tucker will have THIS SEASON. Tucker has met all expectations and is actually getting better.

The Astros are playing well because of guys like Brantley and Gurriel? Do you only watch the Astros at bats and take a **** when the Astros defense takes the field? Let me introduce you to the Astros defense and the Astros pitching staff.

One thing that has always intrigued me about baseball is how many good hitters, even the great ones,change/ fix their swings all within the same season.
I believe it was Blum who mentioned how Altuve is still not comfortable in the Springer role and it has affected his approach.
I don't think .310 Altuve will ever happen again but .280-.290 is more than excellent for that power leadoff role.

I just wanted to finally respond to the Austin Hedges meme, not have you blow a spring in your head.
Did you take your meds today, Bo?

@what is a either a pure troll, or the least insightful baseball fan on the planet. Either way, not worth your time. That said, your closing image was worth the read by itself!

Thats the difference between his speed then and now, He's still fast. Just not as fast. And that costs him some infielc hits and and a few hits into double plays.

So... you refuse to address your Correa/Pena scenario.

You refuse to address what year they drafted Alvarez.

You refuse to address that the only support you had for Hedges apparent elite defensev was from 2018.

But you imply I'm off my meds?

A nice 10-game winning streak would be nice right here. After tonight, the Angels got three weeks of teams at least as good as the Red Sox.

Our catchers hitting anything other than 9th right now is a major mystery.

Jesus Christ.... 5-9 in the line up looks terrible.

I guess that Dusty decided today wasn't important to win.

I will be shocked if we score more than 2 runs.... if I am a pitcher I am smiling after I get past Alvarez in the order.

5-9 is weak. Only the top 4 is above 100 OPS+. It's almost like he's accepted a loss today before the game is played.

But I can see a little extra rest for Pena who has already
played more games this season than any since he was in A ball in 2019 (109 Gms) excluding DWL (~30 games/yr).

He is most vulnerable to fatigue as well as a MLB adjustment slump.

I had a thought while sitting where i do my best thinking. I wonder if Dusty has a gentleman's agreement that Cleveland will also empty their bench? I guess I'll wait and see,

Nope. They put out their best line-up. They want to win this one.
