this episode left me unable to sleep last night. brutal way for howard to go out. lalo is basically the joker or moby dick or anton sigur...hes always lurking around every corner ready to pounce when you least expect it. he is one step ahead of everyone else. its unrealistic and comical at this point in terms of how he is pulling off what hes doing and how he keeps coming out unscathed. i dont think he kills kim. he will get the info he wanted then leave them with howards body to clean up. mike will eventually show up and help them make it look like howard committed suicide in their apartment. kim will realize what she has become and go to the vacuum man to restart her life.
im still reeling from howard. i came to really like that character. just great writing once again...the way they turned him from someone the audience was supposed to think was a douche into someone we were rooting for and saw as a good person. the more they showed of the character the more we sympathized with him. it was the reverse walter white. and we saw last night how much he not only respected and admired chuck, but really thought about him constantly. he was always bringing him up to lots of different people in a way that jimmy never did. obviously saul was able to move on from this incident, but my guess is that howards words are going to haunt kim and make her realize the full implications of what she did and who she is. shes going to bail. ironic, b/c she was the one pushing for the scam but its going to be saul who fully transitions to the dark side in the aftermath.
Every Shred!! I can see all of that MAN! NOT MY HOMIE HOWARD!!! I did start feeling bad for him. They made us care about him. Watching him just fumble and bumble with no comprehension of what was going on I don't think Kim survives. I just don't At this point, she appears even more driven and corrupt than Saul (several times Saul was about moving on or being lenient and she was like NO! PRESS!) This may reverse something but I think she is too far gone. Rocket River
its a shame that AMC does not give a s*** about this show. they had a breaking bad marathon over the weekend instead of a better call saul marathon. in fact, i dont remember them ever doing a BCS marathon or even showing episodes outside of when they are showing each season.
I'm guessing the second half of BCS has a lot of BB references. AMC doesn't do things without thinking them through
This is what I inferred as well. Seems like they're going to be spending some chunks of these episodes on Gene/Omaha/Breaking bad epilogue. And in the end, BB is always rewatchable. BCS may get there eventually, but I'd like to see how they wrap it up.
I really hope AMC does eventually run a marathon of this show so I can dvr it. That’s how I watched Breaking Bad years after it was over.
HYPED for these last 6 episodes. Me and the lady have a pretty sweet rotation right now.... Star Trek SNW, Westworld, The Old Man, Black Bird AND Better Call Saul? Pretty sweet to be indoors getting away from this heat with these shows.
