Sometime tell me when and how you hung out with him.

Bagwell had marital problems and substance problems… but was by far the most generous player the Astros had to the employees he saw every day and people that he came across that needed help.

His restoration of the recliner on the side of the road is epic, as was his acts of buying Astros attendants cars and personal and expensive gifts.

I love Bags, even as a 40 + year old man. Has a huge heart.

Well not everyone can be Austin Hedges….

Bregman will be in the top 25 in WAR among hitters by the end of the season if he stays healthy. He hasn’t been a monster yet but it’s coming… that OPS is going to be in the .850 range by August and his glove is very good.

    The Roll-In on San Felipe.

I couldn't pick Jeff Skilling out of a lineup, but I sat next to him and had cocktails with him and his "paid lady" for 4 hours. His jukebox selections were subpar, btw.

Bagwell was there several times. Such an awesome guy, down to earth, we talked baseball and soccer.

Means he magically plays good during a contract year.

I would place money on the fact that the astros will let him walk.
Also how many teams do you think would trade for this guy at this point. I doubt many would.

Austin hedges didn’t cost $100 mil, which is complete ridiculousness that the astros paid that much for a terrible player

He has yet to have a 'contract year' with Houston.

There are a whole lot of teams that would trade for him. You're kidding yourself if you don't think they would.

Bregman had his career year (thus far) in 2019 after signing his contract extension.

He isn’t a terrible player. He is on pace for nearly 4 WAR. He has more walks than strikeouts and is in the top 4-5 third basemen in defensive WAR so far….. and he almost always plays better later in the season.

I haven't heard the roll-in in quite some time. Every time a train came by it was like .25 shots or something like that

isn’t Austin Hedges pretty much a top 5 defensive player at his position at 6 mil a year, and at least he is a catcher which aren’t expected to be raking.
Lol. Bergman about to be making 28 mil a year lol for marginal production

The guy made $125,000,000 one year at Enron and they still are not sure what he made from his stock sell off right before he resigned. I have read at least one trade netted him $65,000,000.

He dropped $40,000,000 on his defense costs and the federal government fined him another $45,000,000.

He broke up with his first wife and married someone else from Enron in the early 2000’s. He served all his time at an easy low security prison and I want to say he only ended up serving like 12 years.

I met him before the Enron fall, at a bar. Didn’t know who he was (was like 22 years old). He was drunk and he embarrassed the blonde he was with because he said to me: “She (the blonde) said you are hot, and I say you are only average.” … I stared at him confused and the blonde with him was really not happy about it. I just went back to playing pool. It was really bizarre looking back on it. I still don’t know where he was going with that other than he was freaking hammered and had bloodshot eyes.

Some guys I know in the energy sector say the not only is he out of jail but he is working back in the field and is seen out in about and is still quite wealthy, like wealthy enough to buy and do whatever he wants for the rest of his life.
