    "I'm 16 and I think you're childish, you handled it like a child," a student said, adding that Chappelle is a "bigot," Politico Playbook reported Thursday after speaking to attendees of the event.

    "My friend, with all due respect, I don’t believe you could make one of the decisions I have to make on a given day,"     he responded, according to students recounting the event.

    Doesn't sound like they read what he wrote.

    here's my take away from this stuff.

    1. People are crazy if they think you can't be friends with someone you disagree with. You don't even need to explain being friends with anyone for any reason honestly.
    2. It's also crazy that this guy is not only getting attacked by the far left, but also the far right for trying to find a middle ground.

    The whole "Can't be friends with social pariahs" thing digs deep into our puritanical roots where non-Believers and Heretics were disowned by the community and shunned into the wilderness. The lucky survivors later made their own colonies.

    I'm surprised libs and "free thinker atheists" aren't pushing back on that behavior, but this is the country that redesigned satanism as a reactionary FU to christianity. They were wounded so bad by Christians, Satanists decided to create the exact opposite (while keeping Christianity's inherent assumptions) rather than just letting go of religion altogether.

    Hot Damn...that title. Dude throwing gas like the rest of them lulz.
