Like Suns would beat GSW when they cant even beat small ball Mavs. GSW can go small ball like Mavs do with Dray/Wiggins/Klay/Poole/Steph. GSW is amazing at player development and maximizing the talent of their players. They are the Spurs but better.
Part of the reason they are still there is cuz of GSW. Lots of people were saying trade Klay and the 2 lotto picks for a real superstar in the summer.
This just shows role player superstars do exist. "Alpha" guys are pretty common but its rare to find 3nD guys who do it at a superstsr level. Thats why I like Jabari a lot he is the perfect complement to Green.
He could mean beat GSW for one or two games, which Memphis did already, Mavs could still try to do what Nugs did too. OTOH Suns had internal problems. They won't beat anybody out of the teams still playing.
The bearded bum fan club gonna be big mad when Steph adds another championship and likely a finals MVP to his resume.
Pretty crazy factoid. They honestly shouldn't have choked a 3-1 lead to LeBron and Kyrie, and it's unfortunate that Klay tore his ACL and Durant, his Achilles, against the Raps. Assuming GSW won those two titles, the GSW franchise right now should be going for their 6th title (!) in 8 years (!!).
Eastern conference is going to win it all this year. Both Celtics and Heat are sexier teams and most people hate the Warriors so the NBA will make it happen.
Never heard that. I heard he was too slow and would never be a top defender in the NBA. Boy were the experts wrong. As they were about Steph, Draymond, Kevon Looney & Jordan Poole. NBA execs of the 29 other NBA teams built this dynasty with their inability to evaluate talent. The Warriors are the Baltimore Ravens of the NBA draft. They spot the diamonds in the rough over & over. You gotta tip your hat to them for that.
How about Steph is about to tie Lebron for rings (4) during this era. For a 6'3 shooter who is an average NBA athlete, that's an incredible accomplishment. Steph is Lebron's peer during this time. Everyone else are side notes of this era. Unbelievable. I hope the Rockets can build the next dynasty.
Really makes you wonder how good Ray Allen and Reggie Miller would have been, if they played during this era and their prime was also around the mid-late 2010s to now.
