As much as I don't want Pippen to win another title, I want Craq and Flobee to win one even less.

Blazers over the Laker; then they lose in the finals to Indiana or Miami. No Knicks either. Puuuuuuleeeeeeeeeeeeease!!

We have a 50/50 chance of winning our next game, but there is only a 30% chance of that.

I hate the Lakers with a passion, but I think I'd prefer they lose to Indiana in the Finals than the Blazers. I actually like the Blazers alright, but my personal animosity toward Pippen is enough that I want the team eliminated from the playoffs as quickly as possible. I guess I'd prefer the Lakers because Pippen has only a last gasp or two before he is out of championship contention and it seems feasible to deny him another ring. The Lakers, however, promise to be good for many years to come and it doesn't seem possible to keep them from winning at least once between now and when Kobe retires in 2015. So, I'll take my medicine on the Lakers now if I don't have to take it at all when it comes to Pippen.

    Go Pacers!

The Lakers, no way I ever want to hear Pip saying this team is the best team he's ever been on and for him to have any case at all.

I'd rather see the Blazers. I simply dont know how much longer I can stand the Kobe **** sucking by Bob Costas.

Juan, you disappoint me! Don't go soft now! The Lakers must lose...Jackass, Shaq-fool, they must go down! You never know what could happen...Kobe or Shaq could blow out a knee in this year's playoffs or in the off-season (probably not with Phil's luck, but it could happen) and never be the same again, leaving Shaq-fool ringless, and Jackass looking for the next team perched on the brink of stardom to go coach!

The Lakers in the finals against Knicks. I really want either Pacers or Heat, but I know these 2 teams will have NO chance against LA. I give Knicks a slim chance.

[B}I don't want Quitten to have another ring![/B]

Like JV says, LA is going to get their's, might as well let them have it this year. It is not going to mean much anyway, because it will be a tainted championship (marked with an asterick). Why? Because Duncan was out with injury during the payoff? [IMG] Ok, I am reaching...

You know if the Lakers win the title this year I don't think I'll ever watch NBC again! It' bad enough NBC is foaming from the mouth for a Laker-Knick match up but I don't want to hear it for the next year how Phil is the best ever and Kobe"The next Jordan",and Shaq"the unstoppable Diesel"!!! I think I'll go for a Blazer-Indiana Series, as much as I don't like Quitten, I'd rather them win it before the Lakers!!!!!

I picked up the paper this morning and saw a picture of Shaq being guarded by a skilled man even bigger than him...and had visions of Shaq getting frustrated by not being able to dislodge Sabonis in the block. My heart palpitated. I started breathing in short, yet full breaths. I started sweating. My eyes dilated to expand my peripheral vision. I was on the court again as far as my body knew. I want on that court. Let me guard Shaq.

I must play vicariously through Sabonis on D and Wallace on offense.

    I'm sorry man...

    I can't do it...

I can't root for the Lakers...

I have disliked the Lakers and Shaq a lot longer than #33. Plus, #33 knows he sucks anyhow.

I can't pick a team based on how I want history written like some of you.

My body made up its mind this morning...not my head.

I am sweating. I want on the court. I want Wallace to blow by Shaq.

pippen is, has been, and always will be a "role player" the world will be a little better place when people accept that....he cant handle a team on his own..why do you think he left?he is not even the 2nd option on the trailblazers...

I deeply hate the Blazers and Lakers. Being a huge Barkley fan you can realize my feelings on Quitten but I also hate Shaq and Kobe likewise. What I want to happen in the playoffs is for the Blazers to beat the Lakers but only because I think the Heat (my pick for the east) would be able to match up against them better.

    Right on partner, mugg, freak!

On a very primal level, I get a sinking feeling when I think of Shaq winning a title. It's hard to explain why, but one of my favorite stats in all of the NBA is that Shaq's been swept out of the playoffs 5 out of the 6 times he's been there. I get giddy just thinking about it. heh heh.

Not to mention, I don't think I can stomach Phil Jackson's smug mug at the end of all this. I respect calm and confident, I despise smug and cocky. Phil and Shaq must lose - period.

On the other side, I actually would like the Blazers to win - got no grudge against those guys and they've worked hard to get there. I respect them for being a team and not a collection of cocky stars. I just wish #33 that ho was not a part of it.

Don't forget, the Blazers were a very good team before #33 that ho got there and they made a lot of other changes after last season too. I don't think #33 that ho will get that much credit for getting them over the top when all is said and done. Can you say, "role player"?
