Klay is the weirdest player ever. On his own, he isn't *that* good. He could never be the 1st option on a team. He's basically a 3 and D role player. But man does he make this GSW team work. Without him you just overload Steph and they're a play-in team.
On offense, Luka is the best 23 year old player I've seen since LeBron. But he's going to need to get in much better shape as he's a liability on defense on the high screen against the elite like Curry. Dallas is being forced to trap or double and Luka is pretty bad at rotating afterwards. He's also getting worn down and fatigued as the game progress.
I like it that when they gave out Mavs player playoff 40+ pt game stat. Dirk's 7 was 6w - 1L, Luka's was 2w-6L for his 8 that passed Dirk. Scoring a bunch just means they were heliocentric, didn't translate to wins. Mavs don't deserve to be here, Suns choking robbed fans of seeing Warriors getting beat.

It's just disgusting to me that the Warriors are in position to win a title after the Suns faltered in the semifinals. We trusted you, Phoenix, and you blew it.
That was the oddest press conference ever, this a sweep. Luka and the coach already talking about their morale victories, just odd lol. Luka already talking about next year. I know it's not likely they will win this series but you at least should be talking about taking this one game at a time and playing for pride the next game.
I get where they're coming from, though. You're going to have to beat this team 4 times in a row. It's hard to beat any team 4 times in a row, much less this team.
Luka is 23 and this is his first WCF, only a fool would say that, especially when he's put up 34ppg on 62% TS thus far. including 40/11 tonight on 11/23 shooting. for reference, 25 year old Harden in his WCF vs the 2015 Warriors shot 3-16 for 17/4/3 to go down 0-3 in a blowout.

While true you should never be throwing in the towel. Take it a game at a time, at least be telling your team not to get swept in front of your home crowd.

You have to admit that the Warriors organization has done a wonderful job of retooling that roster around its expensive aging stars. They are maximizing Steph’s, Klay’s and Draymond’s time in the NBA. These guys are 5 wins away from their 4th title.
