I don’t know about you but a lot of rockets fans felt indifferent towards Chris Paul. He joined the team, ok great we beat them in the playoffs a couple years prior. No rockets fan that I knew was upset that cp3 joined the rockets On the other hand adding draymond and Steve Kerr would result in it being impossible for me to root for the rockets until they were gone. Felt that way to a lesser extent when we added Jeff hornacek as an assistant coach. But since he almost never got much screen time here I could always pretend he wasn’t there also if you listened to Andrew bogut discuss the warriors dynasty once he left the warriors and signed with Dallas he was no longer getting away with the cheap tactics he got away with when he played on golden state. So it’s safe to say draymond would be reffed completely differently on the rockets
I don't know how long you have been a Rockets fans. Chris Paul had always had the reputation of a nut-hitting, flopping, whining, dirty player. Let me give you another example. Rockets fans always hated Jason Terry. He became a Rocket, and most people started to like him. That said, I know what you are saying. I almost stopped rooting for the Rockets when we got Scottie Pippen. Fortunately he didn't stay long. But homerism is real.
Draymond to me is a completely different level. I can’t stand curry or klay but I wouldn’t root against them if they were rockets, i would be bummed to get them but mostly indifferent, probably just watch/care less draymond 100% I would root against in all situations
you just hate on him cause hes not a TOP PICK and he owns all the top picks for eternity! TAKE THAT FOR DATA
If Brunson and Dinwiddie are not hitting shots, Dallas can pretty much kiss this game and this series goodbye.
Draymond gonna make HOF knowing he offensively sucks at everything but straight-line dribbling and finding Curry or Klay..lol
Mavs game plan is much better this game. Instead of only launching threes, they are making a huge effort to drive into the paint. Their effort has been rewarded with 20ft attempts in the first half and it's keeping them in the game.
