    Definitely but not as much as they used to. Julio Urias was the only 20-game winner in all of MLB last year and he only finished 7th, tied with Adam Wainwright, who had 17. Corbin Burnes only had 11 wins in 28 starts, and he won the NL Cy Young, indicating that today's voters care more about quality than volume. Still, if JV gets the magic 20 wins, it will definitely help his case.

    NL last year CY results is an enigma

    My lazy stat-research says Urias should've won yet he finished 7th in CY

    There's def more going on stat-wise last season NL

    Burnes won the ERA Title and led the league in WINS with an awesome win%

    Let JV do similar then discuss the outcome
