Good to know we’re just a missing rookie piece away from solving the puzzle.

There are different strategies at a rebuild when you have an abundance of picks. You can use each pick and maximize the chance, that you really hit one the of them. Or you can use the picks to trade up in the draft, to maximize the chance, that you hit on the one player you pick. Finally you can use the picks to trade for a star.

I am not sure, which way I prefer. I think you need to get a good foundation first. Maybe we already have that with our rookies from last year and the 3d pick this year (add other players like KPJ, Tate, Wood as you please…) - so then we can really try to get the missing pieces we like. A player like Eason could be just that. On the other hand, if we stay put and take a player at 17 we have one more pick in the future that might be just as valuable in the future.

That being said, I am all for taking a 3 and D guy here…

It's safe to say at this point that failure to obtain Tari Eason so far is a monumental disaster on Stonetitta's part

The Rockets are almost certain to acquire Beauchamp if they utilize the 17th pick.

Problem is we don’t have an abundance of picks it just seems that way

    I love Eason .

I want to move 17 and wood to move up .

would Memphis do 22 and next years first (brooks filler) for wood

seems Dillon brooks is the weak link . I don’t really want him either but you gotta make salaries work . Idk his contract . We
    Get future value .

then we can move 17 and 22 to go up

This draft is quite thin, that's why Sochan, Eason, Daniels, Williams, Agbaji or Deing may be selected quickly, leaving little at 17. Beauchamp, and TyTy are likely to be the best available.

TyTy could work starting next to Green, move KPJ to the 3 or 6th man if he resigns.

Should we take Eason at 3 and hope Banchero falls to 17 because of his questionable defensive tape? Maybe other teams are seeing what CF people are seeing and will be scared off.

We should take Sharpe at 3. Banchero will falls to 17 because of his sweating problem. Holgrem will falls to 2nd round because he's too damn skinny.

Not to mention that I read on here that Banchero has high hips.
