    Isn't SG already Green's position?

It's also Jaygup's natural position right now.

So those are full time sgs not sfs right? Nobody said Booker and Beal can play SF and nobody called Booker, Beal and Harden combo sfs/sgs. I stand corrected on the SG height you are right he does have the prototypical height for sg but then again it means he is just an average sg now in terms of height. He aint a tall sg like Green (allegedly since we dont know his height as well, though tbf Green looked as tall as Cade in SL).

His predraft height was listed at 6'7 so people were assuming he was 6'6 barefoot thats why he had fringe potential as SF. If it turns out he is the same height ss Johnny Davis then there's no reasom he should be taken in the 5-10 range imo.

Eason will probably be there at 17. Guys that are moving up the board are toolsy young kids, like Dieng, Daniels, Branham, Terquavion Smith, and Jalen Williams. The vets will likely fall.

Good point - and Spurs have a few guys in the SG/SF spot anyway...

I just think they are not likely to pick a role-player with any of their picks - it is swing for the fences time for them. They might go for a C at 9? Who knows...

There have been questions about his true height, as he was listed 6'7" in some places, but 6'6" in others (most notably on Arizona's own roster). These are known to be "with shoes" measurements, so there's really no surprise with what we saw at the combine. Personally, I was never convinced that 6'7" was accurate, despite the argument that he just looked smaller because Arizona had such a big team around him.

And yeah, the guys listed are primarily, if not solely SGs. The entire point of citing them was to counter your claim that he was barely big enough to play that position.

I hope you are right but imo he will be gone right before our pick in the 14-16 range.

Yes that was my bad. I guess I meant he is only big enough to play the SG position.

    Draft Jabari Smith at #3
-> Orlando reunites Holmgren and Suggs
-> OKC gets post presence w/ Banchero
Move up draft to secure Tari Eason
-> Trade Wood, Tate, #17 pick

    C: Sengun, Garuba
    PF: Smith, Martin
    SF: Eason, Gordon, Nwaba
    SG: Green, Christopher, Mathews
    PG: Porter, Nix

Good balance of offense and defense

The measurement of his hands at the combine was crazy. Kawhi Leonard numbers.

I don't think we are getting him unless we trade up. I would want us to save it to trade the whole entire treasure trove for Wembanya sweepstake, but Thunders r probably outbid us regardless.

I agree. Jalen Williams looks like a low first round pick to me. He tries hard on defense, but is below average athletically on that end.

Eason is a very good fit for the Rockets. He can potentially play the 3 or 4 depending on who ends up with the Rockets.

I would still probably take Sochan over him because the defensive upside of Sochan is God level as a wing.

Sochan will go before Eason though. I would hope the Rockets could trade up to 12-15 and get him or possibly Dieng.

If the Rockets want him bad enough, it may take the #17 and the Bucks pick.

Is there a reason why we can't get him at 17?

Good chance he goes in the 10-15 range. He has leap frogged guys like Kendall Brown…. Dieng, Sochan and Daniels could push him down to 15-17 but that isn’t likely enough players moving into the lottery to get Eason to us without moving up.

Honestly I would like Eason as a compliment to any of the top 3 in this draft.

He's absolutely terrific. I think he'll pan out well at the next level.

What happens If you don’t land Wemby? (Which is likely...)
