Chris Paul is protected by the media…ESPN execs were probably yelling in his ear piece that the script was to excuse away his play

Weird azz era.

 

Bev was entertaining for brief moment, but dude has gone off the rails. Some of his weirdness:

- saying he destroyed CP and got "a taste of him" at Lebron's camp (farfetch but not impossible0
- saying people are licking their chops facing CP (only he does a weird mime too)
- saying Harden was the Best PG this past year (lol)
- saying Harden deserves the max (lol)
- double taking when JJ Reddick calls Tatum a 2-way player
- when asked, he refuses to give predictions for series winners until he watches game 1.

it’s not often u see an active player take shots at another active player as protected and sheltered as Chris Paul on national TV like that

I can't believe Barnes is talking about Pat Bev when he got a podcast called All the Smoke and how he went in on Kwame and other guys.

Lost a lot of respect for Barnes in the last year.

While she was going over the numbers, Clippers guard Patrick Beverley abruptly interrupted her, saying he disagreed with her logic, sources said. Roberts kindly reiterated that these were potential losses the players would suffer, and Beverley interrupted again.

Roberts asked politely if she could continue with her point, and Beverley responded, "No, I pay your salary," sources said.

This caused an uproar with Paul, Haslem and others, who intervened and told Beverley that disrespect would not be tolerated, sources said.​
