Well Banchero's game isn't even comparable to Chet's at all. Chet is a big and will not be played as anything else. There isn't a team I believe that for one second will think they can put Chet at 3 for even 1 minute. As for him being a Tweener, it has nothing to do with his size but his game. It's that of a SF or perimeter player, he's going to try to create a lot of his own offense and initiate offense on the perimeter a lot, so the success on this depends on if he's quick enough to get past bigs. If he's not, like other failed tweeners, then he's likely not as successful, but if he can then he's going to be a very good player like other tweeners. Theoretically, Banchero can play 3 positions depending on the lineup of course, that's being a tweener. No one ever had Paolo locked down to one position like say Jalen Green who is too small to be a SF and too scoring focused to be a PG and was always seen as a pure scoring SG. The big tweeners though have been pretty risky over the years. Oh, my comment is all about how great Duke has been under Coack K's reign, I just think that sometimes (And only time will tell if this is true for Paolo) Duke's structure and coaching meant players looked better than they were. For example, most of the Duke starters players this year are projected to go in the 1st round, that's an insanely good team. 3 Might go in the lottery. As for programs that have a better history than Duke? Sure. Tarheels, Kentucky, UCLA. Duke is definitely in that top 10 though when it comes to NBA Alumni.
I watched the video now. I really like his fluidity on offense, and I hope that can translate on defense. Some good points in that video: It's unclear what his ideal weight / body style is. I don't know if he should be more of a 4 or a 3. His defense is the big question mark. I don't think he'll ever be a strong defender, but if his fluidity on offense translates to defense then he could be a good position defender.
