Since I havent seen the WWE thread in awhile and have NO idea what number thread this is.

Anyways, anybody going to Smackdown taping on August 3rd? I had NO IDEA that they were coming until I got the Presale Email on Wed and scored me some sweet seats!

    Sec C (floor)
    Row 4
    Seats 1-6

    :D

I was going to buy a couple tickets but I'm content with just attending the Prince concert later that week. WWE comes and goes, Prince ain't got too many years left in 'em. :D I'll wait for RAW to come around, sure they don't have Eddie Guerrero but I'll get to try out my "EUGENE STUFFS" poster.

We are seeing the decline of WWE. Where are the superstars? You still got Taker, Heartbreak Kid, and Triple H. But I miss the Rock, Goldberg, Lesnar, and SCSA. They really brought the entertainment every night and it made the shows hilarious. Unless you are watching for their fights, the shows are sucking.

I haven't watched regularly in years, but every now and then I turn it on and all I see his these middle weight guys with no personality who I've never heard of before. They all use their real names too it seems, or fake regular names. No nicknames like "the Hitman" or "Heart Break Kid."

Didn't pay, but watched the Great American Bash last night. Bad. They murdered Paul Bearer after saying that they will never murder anybody in the WWE.

Good thing I watch TNA wrestling. I know it seems like a plug but it's on PPV Wednesdays, and on FSN Fridays at 3. Six sided ring rules!

i agree.... haven't watched smackdown for ages and the only reason i watch raw is there is a replay on one of our paytv channels late on a friday night when nothing on

the way things are now Jericho is one of the only one's with a personality

You forgot Chris Jericho, who is better than any of the other current superstars and SCSA and Lesnar, and on par with the Rock and Goldberg.

Even Jericho has been pulled back from doing his regular routines. He used to be really funny and get the crowd involved. Now w/ this Jericho show he has, it doesn't really bring out the best in him.

All these new stars coming out of nowhere that we haven't seen nor heard of (Sheldon Benjamin, Tyson Tomko, the French dudes, etc) doesn't really appeal in watching anymore. They should just have one show w/ all the superstars rivaling against each other (Undertaker vs. Triple H, The Rock vs. SCSA, John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Eddie Guerrero vs. RVD, etc.).

I agree that outside of a few superstars it mostly sucks. Smackdown has been unwatchable for quite a while. None of the belts on Raw have changed hands besides the TTT. Triple H is still dominating the screen time. [IMG] Eugene is maybe the worst gimmick I have ever seen. Now I usually just have RAW on while I am doing something else.

I loved watching when WCW had the NWO with Hogan, etc... then there was the anti NWO group, Nash, Sting, Hall, etc... They had a ton of stars, to go along with Bret Hart and DDP, Goldberg and the list goes on. WWF just repeated story lines over and over and it grew tiresome. The Austin character along with many others simply wore out. I agree its on the decline and it'll never be as good as it once was.

I got to admit this. The Eugene gimmick is the only thing that is making me still watch RAW. That's hilarious. The rest of the crap on the show sucks. The ladies look hot, but they need to strip in order to get ratings. They're not getting any right now.

TNA rules! It's only reason I shell out $5 to Dish a month for the FSN sports package.

The brand split seriously needs to end. It was a good idea back when they were overloaded with huge names, but now over half of those guys are gone.

Anybody wants to buy a SINGLE ticket for Smackdown's taping at the Toyota Center on Tuesday? I have a ticket on

    Section C
    Row 4
    Seat 8

Selling it for what I paid for $55 ($45 face value + $10 in convience fees). These seats will be right in front of the camera, so you will be seen throughout the show.

I will be with friends in seats 1-7 including the ever popular Kam. :)

If interested, please email me ASAP (David2000@ev1.net) or AIM my phone at Davecellphone00 and i will give you my cell number to contact me.
