We are safe at 3 now from the bust of the draft Holmgren. I am extremely happy with Banchero. They played against each other last year and Banchero dominated over Holmgren. Timme was the star of Gonzaga and Banchero was the star of Duke.
Banchero is much more nba ready so not surprised he dominated chet. Banxhero defense worrys me on a team with Jalen green
Yea dominated might be the wrong word He was the best player on the court in that Vegas game they played
I am much more optimistic about Green's defense than Banchero. We'll be talking about Green as a plus defender in a year or two. I don't think Banchero will ever get to that level.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Holmgren drop a little. His talent is undeniable, but that body is a nightmare. It will be interesting to see how things shake out for him.
Originally I didn’t want Jalen Green but everything turned out ok. So I’m happy to take Banchero if he’s there at 3.

Good luck getting the best player in the draft with the 3rd pick. I was heartbroken we ended up with the 3rd pick…so close but so far away.
There are some on other threads who compared him to Durant. Smh. Durant never played as a big. Holmgren doesn’t have the quick step Durant has and not as offensively talented which brings up the dilemma on how to play him. Too skinny to play 5, undersized 4, but has some guard ability and shooting touch. So you would have to play him at the 3? This doesn’t solve the Rockets poor paint defense or rebounding issues.
