I'm prepared for the 5th pick. I can accept it. What really worries me is the Rockets passing on Jabari if he's available.
Haha sometimes. The 14 lottery teams all have a chance to get 1-4. There's obviously a lot of random outcomes, but if say #14 moves from 14 to #2 (after Rockets at 1!) then that pushes everyone 2-13 back one. If 8 moves to 2, and no one else moved up Spurs won't be affected. Here's a good chart of odds: https://www.tankathon.com/pick_odds Here's the tankathon simulator. https://www.tankathon.com/ You'll see how different teams moving up can affect the teams Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here
Does Jalen love the idea of playing with Banchero? I don't think he said anything like how KPJ was open about green.
I think we should be looking for any team in need of a SG moving into the top 5. Ivey has moved to the top of several boards and Sharpe is still a wild card. If teams are willing to draft them based on need, we may still be get one of our top 3 targets even if we fall to #5.
It's all over Jalen instagram during March Madness. They also reciprocate their admiration for each other frequently.
I guess any page like that will be somewhat subjective, but in all honesty, the Knicks are probably getting less out of their players than they should. Thibs seems to be a pretty arrogant/stubborn SOB to the detriment of the team.
It'll likely to be a ATL/DAL type Luka/Trae structured trade. Pretty sure there's no Luka type players in this draft so getting another pick while getting a player on our top 3 board would be amazing. Seemingly low risk with top 3 being fairly close
These nerve-wracking odds just remind me how lucky we got last year…and frankly how lucky we would be to avoid the 5th pick this yr. Picking #5 would suck; you can’t pick a high school guy that hasn’t played competitive ball in over a year #5; sorry.
Not wrong. Just the tankathon simulator is straight garbage. Every time I do it, we get the 5th pick the vast majority of the time.
