Don't agree with Barnes. Beverly is still a player. He's not in the media as a professional. He's a player. He can come at it from his perspective. But who is matt Barnes anyway to talk when he's the guy who went bat shiot stalker crazy over Derek Fisher's girlfriend.

As far a Paul, he definitely going to be a notch below the great point guards who won a championship ( Magic, West, Isaiah, Curry, Cousy, and Roberston) and he'll be a notch below the great point guards who didn't choke them away ( Stockton, Kidd, Nash, Iverson, and what not.). He's more third tier on level with guys like Westbrick.

 

Jus remember the most gangsta Pat Bev has ever been was not paying his EZ Tag and going to jail for it...

I mean, Bev was probably asked to take a hard stance on someone, considering it's an ESPN show. And with Bev being short, he probably feels the need to overcompensate with a louder personality. And he personally might have some beef with CP3 too.

All of that, combined, factored into the perfect storm.

It's good content and it's just good TV. Bev slinging poo on CP3, Booker, etc is so great.

 

ESPN knew what they were doing bringing in Bev to speak on Phx... Although Bev , like most delusional mfers, took the bait, he still made some valid points on the Suns.. His comments on CP3 was pure jealousy and hatred ... I'm sure he lost alot of respect from the NBA circle... Good luck making that All defense 1st team you crave do much buddy!
