They usually always send him to game 7.

Mavs wouldn't be in the series without generous calls. Now it's down to one game where anything can happen, especially when the league assigns fixers.

I know getting rid of Porzingis helped resuscitate the Mavs' season because that led to more Brunson/Luka/Dinwiddie offense but, man,...the Mavs could look pretty dangerous if they had Porzingis right now instead of Dinwiddie even if it's just to be a stretch 5.

Just saw it. It kills my vibe to support this scripted rigged bs.

If the NBA had any integrity left it would've fined donkey the next day.

It brought back nightmares of that Durant-out-of-bounds-but-no-call sequence years back.

You might be right. But if they had Porzingis, he might not be even suiting up to play at this point. The dude is even more fragile than Anthony Davis.

It might be addition by subtraction ;). At this point it's probably better to have a Porzingis in street clothes than Dinwiddie's performances right now.

The Center position basically became suspect in the Playoffs.

Jokic had a hard time being swarmed by mobile, shorter defenders.

Embiid just resorted to constant dribbling and fadeaways earlier in the shot clock.

    Gobert became borderline unplayable.

Giannis is probably the only big because he can spin his way to the basket, passes out half the time etc.

I get what you say. But both Jokic and Embiid clearly were carrying their teams. If they had another elite scorer to punish the opposing defense, their teams would have gone further.

The main thing about the center position is that they need to NOT be a liability on both ends of the floor. There are very few of them now. Ayton is one of them.

If he bolts or they let him go, it would leave a serious hole in their lineup. I feel like he's the glue guy for this kid, but has all-star capability.

IMO both Embiid and Jokic are not mobile enough, they are truly skilled for sure, nobody doubt their skills but they can't go uptempo with the fastest teams....they continue to struggle against well executed small ball.

They still drop some big rebounding numbers but they can't control a series against a Top 3 team that way.

    Maybe Chet can change that.

I have not watched the Suns and Ayton the last few years to pass a final judgment.

I know Adebayo is not a true C but he is truly a great big with great hands.

Yeah, Bam's more a true C than Giannis. Giannis is a super size smarter Westbrook who also plays defense.

Suns are good at home, Mavs are bad on the road, the latter has to pull something special out of the hat.
