But Dusty will bench a couple for the 2nd game for rest purposes even though pulling them out early in this game makes much more ANALYTICS sense.
I'm not mad at this lineup at all. If anyone got rest, I'm glad it was Yuli. He's the one key guy in the lineup who's just not hitting. Resting Brantley in case they need a left-handed pinch hitter is nice, too. And I love seeing Pena hitting 2nd and Tucker hitting 5th. Go for 10! Extend the the division lead!

I'm wondering. Does the MLB need to look at changing the rules for win for starting pitchers? I know that opens up a can of worms, but mandating 5 inning for starting pitchers to get the win seems unfair in the era of bullpen games being commonplace, and with resumption of games based on the new rules of not restarting games.
It's so weird that another game is about to start. I know double-headers have been a thing in baseball forever, but every time we play one, it feels so odd. Let's make it 10 in a row!!!
Technically, we took the lead YESTERDAY.[/QUOTE] No... their record was still 20-11 until an hour or so ago.
Well, now I know who Josh Winder is. This makes 2 solid rookie starters the Twins have run out there this series. Hope the results are the same as against Ryan.
Nice job by Chas, you could tell by his swing he was trying to go to RF and move the runner, but it snuck through the middle.
