Most of what I'm reading references other rules I can't find. Completely erasing a game in which one team has a lead would be the WORST rule in baseball. I think completing a suspended game immediately prior to the next scheduled single game is what would happen. But the RULEs should not be as complex as they are. Note - Tomorrow is the last scheduled game in Minnesota between the two teams. The rules I was reading (which may not reflect the current rules) indicate the game is shifted to before the next game at the opponents home in this situation. But they are doing crazy scheduling this year.

I would definitely have different answers to (could he) and (will he). He has always gone off with unbelievable streaks during a year. That just seems to be the ALTUVE way.
They'd already replaced him but they didn't start the 4th. And... considering they scored 5 runs in 3 innings, I wouldn't say those pitches were wasted.
