Chet will definitely be the type of player where the team is just so much better on both ends when he’s on the court super efficient, high BBIQ, versatile, and elite defensively
I would love to get any of those guys. I also won't be mad if we pick up Jabari. I think he'd look great with all of the guys we have who can drive and dish.
Jabari is a great example of why we should never base our opinion of a guy on his highlight reel. For example, this two minute video shows 3 or 4 dunks, so one might think that's a big part of his game. Truth is he had just 14 all season...it's something he did maybe once a week, and rarely off the dribble as shown here.
SRP or UDFA option for Rockets? Like a clone of Dyson Daniels. But available much much later. And already a better 3P shooter than Daniels and more efficient offensively. https://www.tankathon.com/players/compare?players=dyson-daniels--dalen-terry
I can already see the Chet Crew one year from today looking confused at their stat sheets wondering whats going on! They'll blame Silas. They'll blame Stone. They'll blame Jalen Green! "Hey at least he's getting us 2 blocks per game and good efficiency on low volume" (while camped out at the 3 point line waiting for something to happen or for someone to set him up) What a time to be alive! Role players dominate the top of an NBA draft! At least we have Jalen Green. It will always make me feel better (especially after a good portion of Rocket fans went turncoat for Mobley) so no matter who gets picked dont get it twisted for a single second - it will be Jalen to take this team to great heights. Not the hope of "projections" and much needed development from specialists. As long as whoever gets drafted knows their role and gets the fk out of Jalens way its all good!
Interesting comp I think Tatum is quicker and more fluid and Banchero is a more natural playmaker. Tatum is a much better defender.
Paolo will always be a floor spacer he cannot be ignored to double another player he is too skilled, his defense is not that bad either I don't know why you said he will not give you much? Even if he is just 29% which I doubt because he got better as the season progressed and he will have much more room in the NBA, that 29% means people will still have to account for him. I don't know why you would compare Paolo to Gobert they are totally different players.
