Of course Lee gets the full year... then he has to go on the 40 man to be protected from the rule 5 draft next offseason.
Korey Lee was aggressively promoted last season. He hadn't even appeared in full season A ball at the start of the year, and ended the year in AAA, still has under 400 PA above A ball, which isn't even a full season. I'm curious what the Astros are gonna do with "all I wanna do is walk" Papierski. Good to see Berryhill coming on after a slow start. He had a massive offensive season last year and if he can follow it up at the higher levels he will start getting some attention.
Skimming some of the pitching prospects, Adrian Chaidez is off to an extremely strong start, in Asheville no less. Had another solid outing yesterday. Have to imagine he's pretty close to escaping to AA. Otherwise things really don't look great below AA, and that may be kind. Schroeder is looking like a massive whiff.
Huge huge opportunity for him. Big success in AA will have him projecting very well and his stock will skyrocket. Meteoric rise for him so far this season.
RIP their ERAs, but they should honestly be able to keep it around 4.50-5 without giving up an exorbitant amount of hits
Very cool . Is the Paredes in question enoli? I loved that dude . Would be glad to hear he’s back on track and Can be help in the pen
Couple of interesting arms getting starts in Class A as Alex Santos and Spencer Arrighetti are on the mound for Fayetteville and Asheville, respectively.
Excepting Santos’ awful 1st start, he has been excellent (including the 1st 4 innings tonight): 19.1 ip, 3 er, 7bb, 26k.
