    I hear you. Serve them some PITA bread on their special day. See if they get the insinuation. ;)

    I would just like to say that, if my mother were still alive and wasn't bed-ridden (and same with my Dad), then we would probably be hitting up a good sushi restaurant as Mom loved sushi. She used to like to go to Japan House sushi buffet and Blue Fish for sushi in the Allen/Plano area.

    A couple years ago we forgot to make a reservation and everyplace had at least an hour+ wait.
    So I started calling around.
    You know what place was readily available and not a PITA? Los Tios.

    Yeah, I know. It seems like a dumb place for Mother's Day, but we all grew up on it as a family and the kids love it.
    We've been going ever since.
