If we get # 1 pick it’s a hard choice but i would take Jabari Still high on Chet but I would be okay if we aim for next year lottery draft for Wembanyama so Jabari/Chet or Banchero will be fine. Nets pick got worst than what we hoped I liked Sochan for this pick but unless he falls I would then pick Dieng for his upside. He is young and needs a lot of work on his defense. He can be on the Gleague next year we got time. He is a project but he might be really good. I’m also hoping the Rockets pull a trade or some move to get another pick like how we got Sengun. We need more size. I wanted us to draft Mark Williams or even Kessler. But Kamagate would be a nice back up center and he is projected to be in the 30s. So we wouldn’t give up as much. But if we can get Williams somehow that would be terrific in short Jabari Mark Williams Sochan Had been my ideal draft However since we fell to 17 Jabari Dieng Kamagate It would be a more realistic draft which I would be really happy about. I feel we will get the #2 pick again. But let’s hope we get #1 If we end up with the #2 pick it would only be fair that in 2023 we get the #1 pick
My ideal draft would be Jabari Smith and Tari Eason. That is assuming no major prospects slide out of the lottery and are available at 17.
Secure the #1 pick in the lottery and trade down to #3 for who ever is left in the Big 3 and pick up a future 1st. Trade up top 10 with Wood, Tate and #17 pick up Eason or Duren so Basically Paolo/Jabari, Future 1st, Eason/Duren and or Mathurin if we select Chet
I think right now my ideal draft night would be to get the #1 or #2 pick, trade back to 4 or 5 to get Sharpe or Ivey. Use the asset, the 17 and Wood, Gordon or Tate to move back up and get Murray. I dont know why I just like his game more than Jabari's right now. Oddly enough the only two players that look like potential stars to me people seem to be mocking in the 4/5 spot. Jabari, Chet and Paolo all look like #2/#3 options.
My ideal realistic-ish scenario overall would be #3- Chet Holmgren #17- Tari Eason #26- Dalen Terry But I'm still just as happy with Paolo instead of Chet, but Chet is my number 1 so I have to put him. And if you pick Paolo, I'd maybe be praying a bit that Mark Williams falls to 17 and I'd take him instead of Eason, but that feels unlikely
