lol at blaming DJ. Gtfo here with that shiit. Tell me more about how Harden who is supposedly the best player on the court (Heat players included) wasn’t the best and far from it. I see blaming your backup center and 10th man makes your feel better so I won’t stop you.
I don't disagree, but the small ball line up was working. Probably still gets beat, but why go to an option that was an absolute negative?
I almost wonder if something else isn't going on with Harden -- he just looks exhausted out there like he's playing to conserve energy and keep from totally gassing.
Like I said, Doc is stubborn. That's what makes coaches like Nick Nurse, Eric Spolstra, etc standout. They are willing to try something drastically different when **** isn't working. Granted this Sixers team is overmatched without Embiid, but no reason to go to a line up that is absolute garbage.
Probably doesn't want to wear himself out since now he is in his 30s and knows he will need some energy to party with Lil Baby over the summer.
this is exactly what CP3 looked like that second year. He couldn't beat anyone off the dribble. Looked slow. Hamstring injuries are no joke.
James Harden 12 points at half time. Philly up 1 James Harden 4 points second half. Philly lost because of Deandre Jordan!!!! The logic of genius Harden fanbois.
No one thinks Harden is the best player on the court, anymore. Please tell me and the rest of the forum where anyone thought Harden is the best player on the court. The fact that you're using that as the entire basis of your hate tirade against him is what's so perplexing. No one is saying Harden was great while everyone else sucked. Harden was bad. But also Jordan was bad. But also Rivers' coaching was bad. But also, Philly got destroyed in the 2nd half. How are you a functioning person, given how stupid and ignorant you are?
But but but needs moar excuses!!!! It’s easy to function when you’re not attached to Harden’s sac 24/7.
I think the 2019 CP3 comparison could be apt in that both were recovering from hamstring injuries the previous year. It's reasonable to believe both were slowed by the injury the next season. However one concerning difference is that CP3 played pretty much the same game that year as he did the year prior. His shot attempts,3 point field goal attempts, assists numbers and usage were all pretty much normal. The major difference was a drop in his shooting % due to not being able to get separation. Harden this year has seemingly changed his entire game. For whatever reason he has simply refused to shoot the ball and is playing more like Rubio/Rondo than a former scoring champion and multi time 30+ game scorer. Since joining the Sixers Harden is only avg 13 fga per 36. That is down from his time with the Nets this season which was just over 15 fga. Last season Harden avg over 16 fga per 36 minutes playing with KD/Irving/Harris. With or without Embiid, Harden is simply passing up many open threes, catch and shoot and not being aggressive in looking for his shot. Teams started doubling off of Harden after the trade and have been increasingly doing so as the season progressed due to Harden not being aggressive or shooting the open shots. Without Embiid playing, taking13 shots in tonights game with only 4 coming in the second half is simply not enough.
