I bet Silas would look a lot better if he had a James Harden running point Harden’s the type of PG that could almost make u have faith in Christian
Silas had spent 20 plus yrs on learning things in this league… obviously past two years he slowed down a little bit…i mean no one gonna complain about a slow learner… but as we know, assistant position is always his comfort zone, back to the comfort zone, stevie gonna learn better, quicker n most important of all keep his hands off our kids as well as the rebuilding.
When Silas was in Dallas, Luka did for Powell what Harden does in Philly and did for Capela. I’m pretty sure Silas is aight in that regard. Give him the talent, and he’ll make lemonade
I don't care for the "Dunker Spot" unless it's for a Ben Simmons in the right frame of mind. Rather have a screener set a screen and then roll to the rim for lob dunks. Get the big frame moving towards the rim. If that screen man can shoot in P-n-Pop then no need for Dunker Spot either. Also having room for my corner 3-pt shooters to run some Princeton baseline cuts. Both require less clutter along the baseline blocking stuff. A big that can't shoot needs to screen on for ball handler or off ball. Standing flat footed often gets stale like day old bread. Blocked by recovering D.
We hardly have any players that size. Which 6'4 munchkin do we put in the dunker spot while one of our guards runs the PnR with the center?
I suggest less crying, more W's. And he needs to stop being afraid of defense of teams with crap defense - especially team with huge defensive liability like Russ. “I’m deathly afraid of their defense. They’re so big and long and experienced and can cover for each other,” Silas said, via Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times. “…When you have that size, when you have DJ [DeAndre Jordan] and Dwight [Howard] and then you have LeBron [James] and AD and then Russ [Westbrook], it’s hard not to be a really disruptive defensive team.” https://fadeawayworld.net/nba-media...the-lakers-im-deathly-afraid-of-their-defense
This is where you're wrong my friend. The internet rife with basketball geniuses. So many in fact that I don't understand why every team doesn't win the championship every year just by listening to their fanbase. I mean, all a coach really has to do is play my favorite player more, bench/cut/trade my least favorite player, and listen to every word I shout from my living-room couch. Guaranteed Larry O'Brien trophy!
Silas is himself and does what his told to the best of his ability. I am not a fan but respect him in the fact that without his leadership we wouldn’t have the #2 & #3 picks. I look forward to seeing the team this upcoming season.
If and only if we are lucky, we will be blessed with Silas promotions video at the beginning of the season.
