Springer has won 3 of the 4 games by himself and you have some Jay fans chirping with the cheating crap lol

Scoring less than 4 runs has been an automatic loss this year.

Oof.... Whelp. Scored all those runs in game 1. Back to the 3 runs or less offense. Losing these 1 run games, rough.

Is that truly the case or were we not going to pay enough?

He didn’t want to be here… he wanted to distance himself from the cheating scandal even though he benefited from it more than just about anyone.

I don't think anyone should be surprised this is a .500 team without Altuve, McCullers, Pressly, and Meyers.

I said in the offseason thread that if the starting lineup has a 7-9 of McCormick/Siri, Pena, and Maldonado I would be disappointed.

Once we heard Lance McCullers was still hurt my optimism tanked for this season.

If you know the history of his service time manipulation then you know why he held a grudge. IIRC his FA was pushed a year out because of it. At any rate management offered him 7 year 23 mill and he said no so they sent his ass back down. He also wanted to cleanse himself of the MLB scandal that was pinned on us.

They cost themselves a WS title last year, imo. Penny wise, pound foolish, etc.

Passive front office is racking up the L's now...they don't have room for error like they did in the past.

People with engineering degrees much smarter then me poured over data and video for days, weeks and months and came to the agreement that it really helped no one. Although looking at Marwin………
